Senator Warren will lead a hearing entitled “Economic Impacts of Inadequate Transit Maintenance and Oversight: Examining Management Failures at the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority and the Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities” on Friday, October 14. As Chair of the Economic Policy Subcommittee, Senator Warren will preside over the hearing as a member of the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs.

The fact that Elizabeth Warren decided to hold a field hearing is an indictment of the folks on Beacon Hill. They held a hearing on September 14th that merely seems to heave lead to the doubling of audit staff.
