Read MoreIn 2009 I received my first Amazon Kindle. The Kindle is Amazon’s tool for reading e-books that took advantage of new e-ink technology. Instead of having to read your book on a tablet you could read it on a display that looked more like a physical book. The advantage of the e-ink display is that is uses less power and views better in direct sunlight than the LCD displays on our other devices. The disadvantage is that the e-ink displays are not yet generally available in color. If you like to read, owning Amazon Kindle or a similar device is worth your while.

Read MoreLately I have been experiencing lots of problems with iPad OS on my iPad Pro. Many of these problems seem to relate to iCloud. When I am using an iCloud enabled application the app will lose their ability to sync with iCloud. The iCloud enabled documents will not load. This makes using iPad more frustrating and also gives me the Windows nostalgia that I did not miss. At least Apple support gave me a pattern to tackle these issues.
